The project brief was to create a modern interior with clean lines and a hint of Europe. To contend with the challenge of limited natural light due to a residential high rise building in proximity, the Living, corridor, and kitchen space was opened-up to allow natural light & ventilation to permeate through. The knocked off walls are substituted with light filtering, fluted glass, movable partitions. The introduction of a walk-in wardrobe in the Master Bedroom creates a niche adequately screening the kitchen around the cooking space. The use of wall mouldings, metal & glass partitions and the contemporary colour palette evokes the perception of living in an apartment in Budapest.
