A part renovation of the apartment involved a complete renovation of the kitchen and one bathroom. The subdued palette of the kitchen cabinets adds a sense of space to the otherwise modest sized kitchen. A contrast is created with the use of vibrant, Spanish tiles. The overhead cabinets add the much-needed storage space, while the translucent, glass shutters give a sense of lightness to this mass.

The bathroom colour scheme takes inspiration from the richness of sandstone contrasting with the starkness of black. The black is used selectively and mainly as a visual highlighter.
